Incredibly well crafted game in so many ways. Should there be a pause menu? Yes. Should there be more tutorials within the game for newer players? Yes. Do you have to git gud? Yes.
Too many games now a days aren’t as challenging, and rely on micro transactions to feel complete. It’s nice to see a game of this caliber in the midst of the pay to win scene. Embrace death, and be inspired when you win! It’s quite a ride!

If you want to relax after a day at school or work, this game is Not for you. There is no pause, no level difficulty. Only endless "you died" because every character is a boss. You also stand to lose your accumulated points when you die. You will die. And die and die. Then sell the game because you hate it.

these games don’t have difficulty setting because it’s a real game. it doesn’t have fake hard levels by a setting. the game is the same for everyone and is the best game of 2022 hands down. if you can’t handle the game don’t buy or farm XP and level your baby character up before you fight the end boss at level 10. it’s an rpg that requires farming like every game does. you don’t start runescape and go to the wilderness and expect to kill everybody in one hit. go play kirby or call of duty if you want an easy experience but if you’re a gamer that likes a challenge this is a perfect game for that. some people grew up with participation trophies just for showing up and it shows.

The game itself is great. Really in depth but not impossible to understand character creator was easy to use, and it feels enough like a souls game with its own twist to it. For people complaining about the online, this is how it is for literally EVERY fromsoftware game and it’s not hard to do a five minute google search. Also, it is a fromsoftware game, meaning expect difficulty and no remorse. Any difficulty complaints are going to be met with laughs and people telling you that you have a skill issue. Only real issue is slight performance issues on XB1 (sometimes frame rate seems to drop but no unplayable stuttering for me YET) but that’s about it. Everything is all I could’ve asked for.

This game is a beautiful open world game experience. You can go wherever you want and do what you want. You aren’t restricted by the games forced parameters. It is exciting, fun, scary, and beautiful all in one! Amazing game! The DLC part two is coming out in 2024 and I can’t wait!

Game is quite simply , amazing. It does have a learning curve so I urge people to muddle through it and then when it clicks you will see the mastery at hand. I bought this and horizon forbidden west. Both are games are incredible in their own right however in horizon Aloy (the titular character) offers too much assistance with no way to turn it down or off. Elden Ring is the polar opposite offering little in the way of hand holding ,expecting you the gamer to learn adapt and craft the story you want. Highly recommended. Stick with it. It reminds me of Ninja Garden in so much that while the difficulty is taxing you never feel that you were cheated. You just know that if you just had countered better , used that potion instead of waiting or even didn't even challenge the boss until you were leveled up sufficiently you would have done better. 9/10 A+ 95% Believe the reviews .
